As you can all guess there are loads of attractions and things to do in London, my most recent visit I went to an attraction called Ripley’s Believe It or Not. It is found on the corner of Shaftesbury Avenue and Coventry Street right next to the Piccadilly Circus Underground Station. Because of it proximity to this station it’s very easy to get to, being right in the heart of London means it’s near other attractions and eating establishments.

The attraction itself takes you through some of  Robert Ripley’s famously weird events, finds and people. Some of you may have heard of it from the book, which is a bit like the Guinness World Records, but of weird, the attraction takes you through some of these weird records. There is a lot to see here and going through at a semi decent pace can take about 2 hours, there are 5 floors of weirdness to discover. The types of things you can expect to find in the attraction is artwork such as drawings made from just smoke or a match stick tower bridge. There’s a actual piece of the Berlin wall,  statues of some of the strange people Ripley met on his travels and stories of weird weather, cultures and history. A lot of it makes you question is it real? Believe it!

There are information points and videos on a lot of the exhibits where you can find out greater details about what it is they are showing you. You can even test your nerve in a mirror maze, can you find your way out?

Both me and my girlfriend enjoyed it, however we agreed that the actual price of entry was probably too much for what you got. If you look around there are plenty of vouchers to be found. We used Groupon and found half price tickets, we bought them online and they just scanned it at the office, quick and easy. There are 2 for 1 vouchers online too if you look, I actually found a really good website for London’s attractions if you are travelling there by train:

https://www.daysoutguide.co.uk/2for1-london – from here there are loads of attractions you can find that offer  2 for 1. Ripley’s Believe It or Not is found in the section “Theme & Adventure Parks”.

This is the main Ripley’s website in case you want get more information before visiting the attraction yourself: http://ripleyslondon.com/
